I thought I’d do something a little different in this blog. I was recently interviewed by a radio station that wanted to know a bit about my practice and why I do the work that I do.I have always been curious about people – wanting to know what leads people to feel they way they do and behave they way they do. Even in my teens I would be curious and notice people. Later as a therapist, it became not just a job, but a passion for me to help people understand themselves better and help people resolve their struggles.

I’d like to think I’ve been helpful to people, but over the years there have been some people that no matter how long we worked together, they still felt stuck. Seeing clients remain in a stuck place made me more curious and taught me there was more growth and learning to be done on my part.

This 8 minute video shares some of my journey on better understanding how people get stuck in their pain, anxiety and trauma and how I help them resolve that through Brainspotting.

Thanks for tuning in.
